Store Manager

Job Purpose:
Lead a store team to achieve business objectives, including driving sales, managing costs, reducing risks and stock loss, overseeing administration, and maintaining world-class store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales through excellent customer service, strong store presentation, effective stock management, and successful promotional execution.
• Minimise stock loss by promoting a positive store culture and following security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
• Control costs by identifying efficiencies and promoting the company’s low-cost culture.
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in line with company guidelines.
• Lead, train, and coach a dynamic team, taking responsibility for performance, development, and engagement.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the store.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Proficiency in English.
• Tertiary education in business or retail (degree or diploma) is an advantage.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a retail leadership role preferred.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite) is beneficial.
