Sales Representative – DSV Vacancies

Main Purpose of the Role
The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving new business growth by delivering sales results in line with organizational targets, while expanding DSV’s client base in accordance with the Ideal Client Profile and vertical market strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and build a strong pipeline of potential clients aligned to DSV’s Ideal Client Profile
• Apply a structured vertical approach to develop sustainable new business opportunities
• Manage an effective sales diary to maximize productivity and meet performance targets
• Consistently achieve revenue and new business targets as defined by sales objectives

Job Related Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential
• Tertiary qualification is an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commercial or operational role within the logistics industry

Computer Literacy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous

Electives

• Proven ability to build and maintain a healthy, active sales pipeline
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior management
• Confident presentation and negotiation skills
• Professional, well-groomed appearance
