Introduction

Clicks Group Careers is appointing x2 Pharmacist Assistant – QPB to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care within scope of practice while supporting day-to-day dispensary administration in line with Standard Operating Procedures. These roles focus on delivering excellent patient care, maintaining operational standards, and supporting efficient dispensary operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives

  • Deliver high standards of customer service and patient care at all times.
  • Maintain efficient stock control and administration, including accurate repacking of medicines in line with procedures.
  • Ensure efficient dispensary administration and accurate record-keeping.
  • Perform accurate compounding within scope of practice and company standards.
  • Provide general health advice to customers in a professional, ethical manner.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation within the dispensary.
  • Support ad hoc operational requirements in line with business needs.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Matric with Mathematics
Essential: Compliance with the minimum registration requirements for Pharmacist Assistants as prescribed by South African Pharmacy Council for Qualified, Post-Basic, or Learner Basic levels

Skills, Abilities and Job-Related Knowledge

  • Product knowledge across healthcare aisles and OTC medicines
  • Regulatory and legal knowledge aligned with South African Pharmacy Council requirements
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Team player with high integrity
  • Ethical working practices and compliance focus
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic calculation skills
  • Proficiency in IT business operating systems and MS Office
