Sustainability Administrator
Description:
The Sustainability Administrator provides administrative and logistical support to the sustainability team, ensuring the smooth execution of sustainability initiatives. This role is responsible for data collection, management, and reporting to support accurate and timely sustainability reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and maintain sustainability data, ensuring reporting systems are accurate and up to date.
- Track, prepare, and present reports on Data Accuracy, Data Completeness, and Data Timeliness & Entry Efficiency.
- Maintain the integrity of data processes and ensure overall data quality.
- Support the company’s legal and administrative obligations related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
- Systematically organize and control documents to meet internal and external compliance requirements, particularly for merchandise.
- Ensure documentation related to product sourcing, materials, certifications, and compliance standards is correctly filed, easily retrievable, and current.
- Respond efficiently to internal stakeholder requests to support team and departmental efficiency.
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring sustainability projects and programs.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for sustainability team projects, events, and tasks.
- Support internal and external communications related to sustainability initiatives.
- Manage ad hoc tasks and queries, completing unforeseen work without disrupting scheduled duties.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Business Administration, Office Administration, or Project Management.
- 1–2 years’ experience as a Sustainability Administrator or in a similar environment.
- Proven experience in data collection, organization, data entry, and database management.
- Strong understanding of EPR and ESG principles.
- Experience in project coordination.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Document management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and achieve team objectives.
- High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Resilience, emotional maturity, and flexibility to manage multiple tasks.
- Resourcefulness and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
