Job Description
At the heart of Truworths’ Ladieswear, Menswear and Kidswear success is the in-house Fashion Studio. As a Fashion Designer, you will play a key role in shaping future collections by analysing global fashion trends and transforming insights from trend institutes, international fashion fairs and leading fashion capitals into commercially successful ranges.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret global fashion trends to identify emerging colours, fabrics, styles and trims for upcoming seasons

Translate trend insights into clear design direction aligned to each Truworths brand

Collaborate closely with Buyers, Planners and Merchandise leadership to develop innovative and exclusive product ranges

Inspire and energise cross-functional teams through compelling communication of fashion concepts

Contribute to the development of limited-quantity ranges to ensure product exclusivity
Qualifications and Experience

Preferably 5 years’ design experience within a fashion retail or creative manufacturing environment

Alternatively, proven experience across both fashion design and buying with the ability to apply creative concepts practically
