Job Description

Purpose of the Role:
The Mobile Supervisor in Bloemfontein is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a mobile security workforce. The role ensures that employees perform their duties efficiently and effectively, provides on-site supervision, guidance, and support, and reports on operational progress to management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 11 or Grade 12 certificate
• Valid PSIRA Grade B registration and accreditation
• Numerical literacy
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the security industry
• Ability to write accurate reports and incident reports
• Clear criminal record
• Willingness to work shifts
• Valid Code 8 or 10 driver’s license with valid PDP
• Firearm competency: handgun, shotgun, and rifle
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a mobile team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain strong client relationships regarding security services provided
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, offering feedback and identifying areas for improvement
• Ensure all Security Officers meet contractual requirements
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality control and safety standards
• Continuously assess service levels and make recommendations for improvement
• Manage and supervise security staff, addressing HR-related queries promptly
• Investigate incidents and submit weekly/monthly incident reports to management
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, work hours, and project progress
