About the Role
Pepkor Vacancies is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Store Planner to join the CODE division of Pepkor Speciality. This role is essential in driving merchandise success by developing and executing effective store planning strategies that support overall business performance.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Statistics, or Cost & Management Accounting

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Store Planner within a retail environment
• Strong understanding of stock control and distribution processes
• Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle, particularly within Buying
• Advanced proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office
• Understanding of seasonal and non-seasonal replenishment processes
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Strong time management abilities
• Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving capabilities

Key Responsibilities

Stock Planning & Distribution

• Plan and manage accurate distribution of stock to stores for both seasonal and non-seasonal products
• Ensure optimal stock allocation through data-driven insights

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Provide accurate data and analysis to support informed stock allocation decisions
• Monitor and analyse stock levels across various store categories
• Evaluate stock movement across stores and product ranges

Store Performance & Planning

• Develop and deliver location plans to support effective store clustering at product level
• Assess store performance and provide timely, actionable feedback to support business decisions
• Contribute to the overall merchandise planning process

Support & Coordination

• Assist stores in resolving stock-related queries efficiently
• Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure alignment in planning and execution

Compliance

• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
