Truworths is seeking a dedicated Facilities Co-Ordinator to join our Store Design Contracts Department. Reporting to the National Contracts Manager, this role is integral to the smooth operation and maintenance of our retail property portfolio, supporting store builds and ensuring that all stores operate optimally. Key Responsibilities

Facilitate, track and ensure timely resolution of building and plant maintenance issues across all stores, including water ingress, HVAC, escalators, hoists, fire damage, and related concerns

Prepare progress reports and documentation in collaboration with the Property Management Team, Property Legal Team, Operations team, Landlords, and Contracts Management team

Collaborate with internal departments, external service providers, and key stakeholders to achieve operational and project goals

Support the implementation of new processes and systems to improve facilities management

Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance across operational processes

Engage with store Operations teams, contractors, and support departments to address facilities-related issues efficiently
Qualifications and Experience

Matric/Grade 12, NQF 4 in Facilities Management or Project Management

NQF 5/6 in Facilities Management is desirable
-
3–5 years’ experience in Property Management or Project Coordination, preferably within retail property or store builds

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
