Main Purpose of the Role
The Manager: Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all global operational movements for a dedicated Oil & Gas project across Africa, including Air, Sea, and Road freight, from initial receipt through to final close-out, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

• 5–7 years’ experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience with CargoWise 1 or similar customs systems
• Strong understanding of forwarding, logistics, and clearing processes
• Proven experience within Africa and familiarity with regional documentation is an advantage

Qualifications

• Matric (essential)
• Diploma or BCom in Logistics or a related field (advantageous)

Computer Skills

• Essential basic computer proficiency, with intermediate skills preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Office 365 tools including Teams, OneNote, Forms
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience with CargoWise, C2C, and related logistics systems

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a key support and backup across all functions of the CPT Project team
• Manage and coordinate global shipments to ensure successful project completion
• Oversee accurate and timely billing, ensuring full cost recovery per shipment and project
• Prepare and deliver detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Apply a structured, process-driven approach to all operational activities
• Ensure adherence to and management of the DSV Credit Risk Policy
• Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Ensure timely dispatch of air and sea freight shipments to clients in Angola
• Ensure full compliance with all documentation and regulatory requirements
