Management Accountant – Fidelity Vacancies

Purpose of the Position
The Management Accountant will ensure effective control of the debtor’s book, minimising overdue accounts and maintaining strong financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve retailer queries efficiently and professionally
• Maintain excellent relationships with retailers
• Collect outstanding payments on overdue accounts
• Ensure timely processing of journals and EFTs
• Manage and respond to customer queries
• Conduct account reviews and reassessments
• Handle allocations accurately
• Recruit, train, and supervise Accounts Receivable Clerks
• Provide training to team members as needed
• Monitor and report on overdue accounts and claims
• Support the finance team with accounting analysis and reporting

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or equivalent; related tertiary qualification advantageous
• Minimum 3 years’ credit control experience
• 2 years’ supervisory experience advantageous
• Knowledge of legal aspects of credit control in FMCG preferred
• Strong financial accounting and analytical skills
• Intermediate Excel proficiency; SAP experience advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent query resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and analytical
• Valid Driver’s Licence and ability to drive
