Spar Vacancies – Hybrid Sales Representative
Position: Hybrid Sales Representative
Main Purpose of the Role:
As a Hybrid Sales Representative, you will drive new business growth by sourcing and selling armed monitoring and armed response agreements, as well as security system solutions to new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and sell armed monitoring and armed response agreements to new clients.
- Sell new alarm systems and upgrades, including CCTV systems, electric fences, and system enhancements.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for new customer acquisition and hardware sales.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven sales experience with a strong track record, preferably in capital goods or technical sales.
- Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS or DSC alarm systems is advantageous.
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
Job Requirements & Attributes:
- Self-motivated, energetic, and target-driven.
- Strong selling ability with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, email, and internet tools.
- Presentable, professional, and of sober habits.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- PSIRA Grade C is advantageous.
- Hunter mindset for new business development.
- Strong aptitude for electronic and technical equipment, including alarms and monitoring platforms.
Duties:
- Generate and close self-sourced sales opportunities.
- Follow up on all leads received internally and via telesales.
- Sell tailored security solutions to new and existing clients.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and key partners.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting.
- Maintain accurate sales administration and documentation.
- Remain highly motivated to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
Performance Standards:
- Achieve revenue and new client acquisition targets.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with existing estate clients.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all leads and quotations to maximise conversions.
