Purpose of the Role
• The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth across a diverse customer base including retail, commercial, and industrial sectors
• Focus on acquiring new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and delivering tailored solutions
• Contribute to revenue growth by achieving sales targets and expanding market reach
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple sectors
• Build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
• Manage customer accounts including credit arrangements, payment terms, and follow-ups
• Present and promote company products and services to prospective and existing clients
• Address customer needs, resolve issues, and overcome objections effectively
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
• Implement sales strategies aligned with company marketing initiatives
• Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
• Follow daily route plans and ensure timely customer visits
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a sales environment
• Strong communication skills
