Job Purpose
-
Ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary while delivering service excellence through high standards of pharmaceutical care to achieve sales, compliance, and customer satisfaction targets.
Job Objectives
-
Provide professional pharmaceutical care through accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offer appropriate advice in line with Good Pharmacy Practice, company standards, and SAPC legislation.

Manage all dispensary operations efficiently, including stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administrative duties in accordance with merchandising standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintain the operational and commercial viability of the dispensary by focusing on core dispensary and clinic performance targets.

Support the development and competence of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns through training, coaching, and supervision in line with SAPC requirements.

Deliver exceptional customer service initiatives that enhance the customer experience, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

Build and sustain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including centre management, suppliers, and distribution centres, to achieve business objectives.

Ensure effective integration and collaboration with the clinic and healthcare aisles to provide a comprehensive healthcare offering to customers.

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
-
Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
-
Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous
-
Experience with Unisolv systems is advantageous
Job Knowledge and Skills

In-depth knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant pharmacy legislation

Commitment to ethical practice and regulatory compliance

Understanding of stock, cost, risk, and compliance management procedures

Strong knowledge of patient care and professional counselling
