About the Program:
Job Description
As a Nursing Practitioner at Clicks, you will manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelines while delivering high-quality healthcare services. You will conduct lifestyle management screenings, “Well Baby” clinics including immunisations and monitoring, and provide reproductive health services and adult immunisations.
You will offer Primary Health Care services such as minor ailments treatment, wound care, and phlebotomy. Your responsibilities include compiling professional, stock, and financial management reports, managing medical waste, ensuring a safe clinic environment, and handling adverse events and emergencies.
Counselling and advising patients on health information, weight management, and referring patients to Pharmacists or other healthcare professionals when appropriate will be part of your role. You will also plan and implement “Health Days” and other health projects while developing professional healthcare networks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Professional Nurse with SANC
- 3-year nursing diploma or 4-year degree
- Minimum 3 years practical experience across nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health, and Midwifery
- Experience with Unisolv and Allegra (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Skills, Abilities, and Job Knowledge:
- Maintain patient information securely, confidentially, and accurately on electronic systems
- Efficient clinic administration and reporting in line with company policies
- Ensure payment controls for services provided
- Manage and monitor clinic stock and equipment, prevent loss and maintain cold chain
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Ensure SANC registration and indemnity are up to date
- Establish and coordinate locum networks
- Implement and conduct self-audits
