About the Program:

Job Description
As a Wellness Assistant at Clicks, you will deliver exceptional customer service by being visible on the shop floor, proactively understanding customer needs, and providing knowledgeable advice on health, nutrition, and supplements.

You will consult with customers to recommend suitable healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products while driving sales through effective promotion, cross-selling, and upselling. Maintaining stock availability in the healthcare aisles by adhering to stock management principles is essential to achieving sales targets.

You will prevent wastage and stock losses by following stock rotation and risk management procedures. Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the store will create an inviting shopping environment. You will also support product merchandising by following company guidelines and ensure continuity of service by developing your own product knowledge and sharing information with relief staff.

Job Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements
  • Understanding of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management

Job Related Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented
  • Selling and merchandising skills
  • Basic computer literacy (desirable)

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Experience with sports nutrition and vitamin products
  • Customer service and sales experience

Education:

  • Matric with 50% in both pure and literacy subjects
  • English 50%
  • Sports, fitness, or nutrition qualification (desirable)
