Key Purpose of the Role
This Learnership leads to a nationally accredited FETC: Long-Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification. It combines structured learning with hands-on experience in the Financial Services industry.
Areas of Responsibility
- Long-Term Insurance (Discovery Health)
- Call Centre Operations: Medical aid client servicing, claims processing, new business administration, and health benefits support

Education and Experience
- Grade 12 is essential with the following minimum requirements:
- Maths (Level 4 – 50%)
- English (Level 4 – 50%)
- Maths Literacy (Level 5 – 60%)
- Second Language (Level 4 – 50%)
- Incomplete tertiary qualification (advantageous)
Specific Requirements
- Not currently engaged in post-matric studies or formal employment
- No prior Learnership completion
- Aged between 18 and 25 years
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel & Outlook)
