Branch Manager – Auto Pedigree | Pretoria Central
Auto Pedigree, a division of Motus, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Pretoria Central branch. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with strong sales and operations management expertise, ready to drive branch performance and contribute to Auto Pedigree’s growth. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will oversee all aspects of branch operations while ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance.
Position Overview
The Branch Manager will be responsible for maximizing gross profit, meeting unit and Rand sales targets, and driving overall business success. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence, staff development, and compliance with company policies.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Maximize branch profitability by achieving unit sales, Rand sales, and 2nd gross targets.
- Collaborate with the F&I Manager to ensure financial and insurance compliance.
- Manage stock, cash, and assets efficiently.
- Oversee daily operations, including sales, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Lead and motivate the branch team, ensuring staff meet targets through training and development.
- Maintain high customer service standards and resolve escalated issues.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate and implement procedural updates to staff.
- Submit required reports on time.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings to review performance, marketing efforts, and business strategies.
- Oversee F&I administrative functions and compliance.
- Facilitate training programs to enhance staff efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct performance appraisals as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Experience:
- 3+ years in a managerial role within the automotive industry (preferably used car dealerships).
Minimum Qualification:
- Grade 12
- NCA qualification
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of retail compliance (advantageous)
- Understanding of local language(s) (advantageous)
- Familiarity with Auto Pedigree products and services
