About the Role
Affinity Health Vacancies is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Telesales Agent to join a leading provider in the power solutions industry. This role blends technical support with sales, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, customer interaction, and driving results.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Customer Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for generator-related queries
  • Provide immediate technical solutions and guidance to customers
  • Keep clients informed on service progress and job status
  • Manage and resolve product-related complaints professionally

Technician Coordination & Scheduling

  • Plan and schedule service visits for technicians efficiently
  • Debrief technicians after service calls
  • Process service invoices, job cards, and sub-contractor schedules
  • Maintain strong working relationships with service teams

Quotations & Administration

  • Prepare accurate quotations for services and spare parts
  • Process warranty claims, work orders, and sales orders
  • Update and maintain customer records in the system
  • Monitor inventory and report on stock levels

Sales & Client Engagement

  • Promote and sell products and services to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Assist walk-in customers and address specific requirements
  • Process payments and ensure accurate documentation

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate (preferably with Higher Grade subjects, including Mathematics C+)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable own transport
  • Telesales experience advantageous
  • Technical interest in engines or electrical systems advantageous
  • Strong communication, selling, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and computer literacy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Professional, presentable, and target-driven
  • Strong organisational, time management, and teamwork skills
