Main Purpose of Position:
The Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing SoluGrowth’s financial operations, including risk management, financial strategy development, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a key part in driving the company’s financial health and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Assist in formulating and executing the company’s financial and tax strategies.
- Develop and monitor strategic business plans and performance measures.
- Manage capital requests, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Support long-term financial planning, including 3-year forecasts.
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Oversee cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable management.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective financial controls and perform quarterly self-assessments.
- Manage costing, inventory valuation, and provisions for accuracy.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, board packs, and financial reports.
- Conduct profitability and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Report financial results to the Board of Directors.
Risk & Governance
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Maintain insurance coverage and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Implement reliable control systems and report risk issues to leadership.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop the finance team for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on key business decisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with management and external stakeholders.
Audit & Budget Management
- Ensure timely completion of annual audits and financial statements.
- Coordinate budget preparation and consolidation for accuracy and compliance.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage vendor payments while maintaining cash flow efficiency.
- Oversee collections and ensure adherence to customer credit terms.
