Digital Communications Coordinator
About the Program:
Job Purpose:
To assist in implementing engaging digital communications initiatives to diverse audiences, coordinate and maintain the digital presence, and collaborate across departments to deliver on the digital communications strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brief, build, and update digital communications content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Utilize best practices and emerging digital communications tools while aligning with internal processes.
- Coordinate, brief, edit, build, maintain, and deploy campaigns across Email, SMS, App notifications, Pop-ups, and WhatsApp.
- Ensure all communications receive prior approvals and adhere to the deployment calendar.
- Assist in analyzing and reporting on digital communications initiatives to measure performance and identify improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
Job Knowledge:
- Digital marketing principles, practices, and global trends
- Digital communication platforms and tools
- Copywriting and editing
- Communication strategies and best practices
Skills and Abilities:
- Innovative thinking and creative communication ideas
- Relationship building and collaboration
- Analytical skills, including BI reporting and deriving insights from data
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Managing complexity and content creation
- Proficiency in communication and content management
Desirable Skills:
- Advanced data analytics or data science
- Proficiency in publishing, content development, video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ marketing experience (retail/FMCG experience desirable), including at least 1 year in digital communications
- Minimum 1 year using digital communications and social media management tools
- Desirable: 3 years’ marketing experience with at least 1 year in digital communications
Education:
- Essential: National Diploma in Marketing, Communication, or relevant discipline
- Desirable: Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent in Marketing or related field
