Job Summary
Browns Jewellers is looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join our dynamic team. This Internship offers hands-on experience in key financial areas within the luxury retail sector, including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Banking, Reconciliations, and Inventory Finance. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights into financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Assist with vendor payments, invoice processing, and reconciliations.
- Accounts Receivable: Investigate client payments and resolve CRM-related finance queries.
- Banking & Reconciliations: Support transaction matching, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations.
- Reporting Support: Contribute to the preparation of financial reports such as P&L statements, insurance claims, and refund summaries.
- Inventory Finance: Assist with inventory audits and month-end financial procedures.
- Project Assistance: Track and manage payments for business and retail projects.
Requirements
- Completed BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software is a plus.
- Passion for finance and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced retail environment.
