Forecourt Sales Representative – Value Logistics

Purpose of the Role
• The Forecourt Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within petrol station forecourts and convenience outlets
• Focus on building strong client relationships, ensuring product availability, and managing high-volume, fast-paced retail environments
• Deliver tailored solutions while maintaining high merchandising and service standards

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and expand customer accounts within the forecourt and convenience retail segment, particularly in beverage and snack categories
• Manage and promote private label products effectively
• Provide frequent service visits to ensure consistent product availability and merchandising standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers and forecourt staff
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent stock shortages
• Execute promotional campaigns and manage point-of-sale displays in line with marketing plans
• Track performance of key products and recommend improvements to product assortment
• Analyse and provide insights into customer buying behaviour at forecourt locations
• Follow structured route plans, prioritising forecourt visits and meeting delivery deadlines
• Assist with credit control processes and reconcile on-site payments
• Compile and submit detailed reports on sales activities and forecourt performance

Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in sales, with at least 3 years in forecourt or convenience retail sales
• Proven sales performance over the past 12 months
• Strong communication skills
