About the Program

Job Description
We are looking for a committed Pharmacist Assistant to support our dispensary operations and ensure outstanding customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and general health advice.
• Manage stock control, including efficient repacking of medicines.
• Perform accurate dispensary administration.
• Ensure precise compounding of medications.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation.
• Execute ad hoc tasks according to operational requirements.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:

• Matric with Mathematics (essential).
• Compliance with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) requirements for Pharmacist Assistants at Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic levels.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of health aisle products and OTC medications.
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal frameworks.
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Team player demonstrating integrity and ethical work practices.
• High accuracy and attention to detail, including basic calculations.
• Proficient in IT business systems and MS Office.
