Job Description
Senior Business Development Consultant
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development Consultant to drive new business growth, enhance client relationships, and deliver exceptional sales performance. Your role will focus on expanding Kaelo’s market presence through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and innovative sales solutions.
Key Outcomes
- Manage strategic new business accounts and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Deliver tailored sales solutions to meet client needs and enhance retention.
- Drive proactive sales and marketing initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments.
- Negotiate and close sales while ensuring seamless administrative execution.
- Apply technical expertise and training to optimize business performance.
Qualifications
Special Requirements
- Minimum 3 years as a Business Consultant with a proven sales track record.
- Strong background in the health and short-term insurance industries.
- Demonstrated success in new business development and sales leadership.
Preferred
- Based in Johannesburg.
Education & Accreditations
- Required:
- Grade 12 matric.
- FAIS accreditation.
- NQF Level 5 in Wealth Management or Short-Term Insurance.
- RE exams.
- Preferred:
- Business Degree.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management tools.
- Financial planning and underwriting expertise.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
