Job Description: Application and Security Management Analyst
Principal Responsibilities
- Partner with technical and business teams to resolve security vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
- Manage application security activities, ensuring adherence to audit standards and corporate policies.
- Assist in change and incident management, prioritizing high-severity incidents (P1 & P2).
- Advise development and support teams on security ticket requirements and SLA compliance.
- Serve as a bridge between stakeholders to maintain clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Support governance efforts, including audit preparations and policy enhancements.
- Generate security reports, including weekly, monthly, and OSM-specific metrics.
Required Key Skills
Application Security & Vulnerability Management
- Knowledge of CVSS and tools like OWASP ZAP, Veracode, Rapid7, and Wiz.IO.
- Track and mitigate vulnerabilities, partnering with IT and development teams.
- Maintain secure configurations for systems, applications, and networks.
Security Fundamentals
- Expertise in encryption, authentication, and secure data transmission.
- Familiarity with network security, firewalls, SSO/MFA (OKTA), Active Directory, and CyberArk PAM.
SIEM & Monitoring
- Hands-on experience with Splunk for threat detection and log analysis.
- Optimize SIEM use cases to improve security response.
Endpoint & Cloud Security
- Proficiency with Tanium, MS Defender, IBM Guardium, and Cyera.
- Cloud security knowledge (Wiz.IO, AWS/Azure/GCP secrets management, Thales, AWS KMS/HSM).
Additional Tools
- Exposure to SailPoint, CyCognito, Imperva, ProofPoint, 1Password, and Netwrix.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience assessing security controls in cloud and on-prem environments.
- Background in vulnerability monitoring, reporting, and remediation.
- Understanding of risk management, compliance, and control testing.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
