About the Program

Responsibilities

  • Supervise van sales representatives to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and instill a customer-focused sales culture within the team.
  • Conduct daily gate meetings to review market performance, execution, and discipline KPIs.
  • Coach sales staff to improve sales capability and overall performance.
  • Provide in-market coaching and support to van sales representatives.
  • Ensure 100% outlet coverage within assigned routes.
  • Conduct individual customer visits to resolve issues and strengthen relationships.
  • Drive business development and expand the customer base.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow market share and achieve business growth.
  • Align teams with strategic directions and manage change initiatives.
  • Conduct regular training sessions with the training team on critical business skills.
  • Perform performance reviews and support staff development.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or equivalent (3-year program).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the FMCG sector, including at least 1 year in a sales role.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong customer relations and results-driven mindset.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret sales insights and drive volume growth.
  • Strong planning, organizing, influencing, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • Ability to access, analyze, and apply sales data to improve performance.
