About the Role

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. This role focuses on delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs while supporting overall business objectives.

Purpose of the Job

The Sales Representative will manage and expand the customer base, achieve sales targets, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires proactive prospecting, account management, and effective execution of sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple market segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Manage customer accounts, including credit arrangements and payment follow-ups
  • Promote and present company products and services to clients
  • Address customer queries, provide solutions, and handle objections effectively
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Implement sales strategies aligned with marketing initiatives
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Follow structured daily route plans and ensure timely customer visits

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong communication skills
