Instrument Technician – Tiger Brands Vacancies

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist operational support to shift teams and assist as a technical expert in problem-solving

• Maintain plant availability above 95% to ensure uninterrupted operations

• Ensure full compliance with all safety, quality, and engineering standards

• Install, maintain, and repair instruments and control systems to ensure optimal functionality

• Calibrate and test equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on instruments and systems

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise performance

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and calibrations

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Diploma or Trade Tested Artisan qualification

• Minimum S4/N6 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant experience

• Strong understanding of maintenance systems and engineering standards

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Ability to work effectively in a team and under operational pressure
