Job Overview
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to support the accounts payable function. Reporting to the Bookkeeper, this role is responsible for ensuring that all creditor accounts are processed accurately and timeously in line with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a creditors environment, including reconciliations
- Working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Own reliable transport
Key Performance Areas
Accounts Payable & Reconciliations
- Follow up daily on vendor, statement, and invoice discrepancies
- Perform supplier reconciliations and prepare requisitions for payment
- Reconcile purchase orders to supplier invoices
- Ensure accurate daily capturing of invoices on SAP and Key Fleet
Payments & Cash Management
- Process daily, weekly, and monthly cash outflows
- Manage petty cash and cash book-related invoices and payments
- Load and process payments on the online banking system
- Verify supplier banking details prior to payment processing
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and process monthly accrual journals
- Compile monthly creditors age analysis for review
- Produce accurate and timely reports as required
- File and maintain all invoices, reconciliations, and supplier documentation
Supplier & Internal Support
- Respond to all creditor and internal staff queries relating to payments
- Load and maintain new creditors on the SAP system
- Ensure all payment requisitions comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
