About the Program

Job Description

• Perform SVM and flight line duties, including line maintenance inspections and routine aircraft checks.
• Ensure quality and compliance during Pre-Flight, Post-Flight, and Transit inspections.
• Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance to uphold the highest safety and operational standards.
• Inspect mechanical systems and perform fault finding and rectification as required.
• Execute A-checks, including weekly service inspections.
• Conduct thorough daily inspections to identify potential issues or defects.
• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continued airworthiness of aircraft.
• Adhere strictly to maintenance procedures, safety standards, and SACAA documentation requirements.
• Comply with health and safety protocols to prevent accidents, fire hazards, and incidents.
• Maintain safe and organized work areas, equipment, and tooling prior to starting tasks.
• Apply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical issues effectively.
• Communicate professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Mechanical Trade Test Certificate.
• Licensed AME with SACAA A & C License on B737/800.
• Certified on B737/800 airframe series and 7B series engines.
• Minimum 15 years aviation experience.
• Previous experience as an aviation technician on B737/800 mechanical systems.
• Exposure to Line Maintenance and OJT experience.
• Experience with B737-8 (MAX) mechanical systems advantageous.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Available and willing to travel locally and internationally on short notice.
• Valid South African passport.
• Strong understanding of technical aircraft publications and mechanical schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills on B737/400/800 series.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
