Introduction

Clicks Group Careers is recruiting x2 Pharmacist Assistant – QPB to deliver pharmaceutical care within scope of practice while supporting day-to-day dispensary administration in line with Standard Operating Procedures. These roles focus on service excellence, operational efficiency, and accurate dispensing support to enhance patient care.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives

  • Deliver consistently high standards of customer service and patient care.
  • Maintain efficient stock control and administration, including accurate repacking of medicines in line with procedures.
  • Ensure efficient dispensary administration with accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Perform accurate compounding within scope of practice and company standards.
  • Provide general health advice in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise presentation in the dispensary.
  • Support ad hoc operational requirements in line with business needs.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Matric with Mathematics
Essential: Registration requirements for Pharmacist Assistants (Qualified, Post-Basic, or Learner Basic) as prescribed by South African Pharmacy Council

Skills, Abilities and Job-Related Knowledge

  • Product knowledge across healthcare aisles and OTC medicines
  • Regulatory and legal knowledge aligned with South African Pharmacy Council requirements
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Team player with high integrity
  • Ethical working practices and compliance focus
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic calculation skills
  • Proficiency in IT business operating systems and MS Office
