Forecourt Sales Representative – Value Logistics

Purpose of the Role
The Forecourt Sales Representative is responsible for driving and expanding sales within petrol station forecourts and convenience retail outlets. This role focuses on managing high-volume environments, ensuring product availability, and building strong relationships to maximize sales performance within the beverage and snack categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales accounts within the forecourt and convenience retail segment
  • Manage and promote private label products effectively
  • Deliver high-frequency service to maintain product availability and merchandising standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers and forecourt staff
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent stock shortages
  • Execute promotional campaigns and manage point-of-sale materials at forecourt locations
  • Track performance of fast-moving products and recommend improvements to product assortment
  • Provide insights into consumer buying behavior within forecourt environments
  • Follow structured route plans, ensuring consistent visits and adherence to delivery schedules
  • Support credit control processes and reconcile on-site transactions and payments
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on sales activities and forecourt performance

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5–10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in forecourt or convenience retail sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven sales performance track record over the past 12 months
