About the Role
The Planner Clothing is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and analysing inventory processes to ensure store stock integrity. This role plays a key part in identifying financial stock risks, driving actions that enhance cash flow, and improving stock holding efficiencies. Through accurate reporting, robust controls, and proactive problem-solving, you will maintain optimal stock accuracy, availability, and profitability.
Minimum Requirements
- BCom Degree or relevant qualification in Business, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in Clothing Retail Planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Willingness to work extended hours and conduct regular store visits
- Previous experience in a clothing retail environment is essential
- SAP knowledge is advantageous

Key Responsibilities
- Plan seasonal sales budgets by category to align with business objectives
- Collaborate with Buyers to implement financial strategies and achieve budgets
- Support the development of a clear and effective pricing architecture
- Develop and manage assortment plans to meet strategic goals and target margins
- Monitor performance through weekly reports, adjusting for fast and slow movers
- Plan and prepare promotions and markdowns to optimise sales and stock levels
