Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Assist with formulating the franchise’s future direction and support tactical initiatives. Implement strategic decisions.
- Financial Planning: Develop financial and tax strategies. Manage capital requests, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare financial and statutory reports in line with IFRS. Oversee monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
- Risk & Governance: Ensure tax compliance, manage insurance, BBBEE reporting, and legal engagements.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor banking, working capital, IT systems, and financial controls.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Education: BCom Honours in Accounting | CA(SA) qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years post-articles, preferably in the motor industry.
- Skills:
- Strategic planning, policy formulation, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel, business modeling, and team management.
- Strong communication for stakeholder engagement (factory, finance houses).
- Attributes: Operational focus, multitasking, and leadership in diverse environments.
