Job Description
The Client Liaison Officer at FCS Bethlehem reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for managing daily branch operations, ensuring all deposits are verified, balanced, and processed according to contractual agreements. The role prioritizes client satisfaction, effective incident management, and smooth operational workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all client queries professionally and promptly
- Complete and manage incident reports, communicating with clients as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction remains a top priority
- File daily reports and statistics accurately
- Download, save, and review relevant video footage related to incidents
- Provide feedback to tellers based on video reviews and recommend corrective actions if needed
- Advise management of any flaws in teller processing
- Investigate variances in client deposits and queries
- Provide necessary feedback to clients
- Record all counterfeit notes and send returns to head office
- Support investigations and insurance claims with proper documentation and feedback
- Maintain thorough records of all investigations
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as required
- Ensure all cameras and VSI equipment are fully operational and report any faults
- Carry out additional duties as directed by management
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Certificate
- Registered Grade C PSIRA Certificate
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, bilingual preferred
- Professional telephonic manner
- Strong administrative, writing, and reporting abilities
- Effective time management
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy
Knowledge & Experience
- Understanding of relevant legislation
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar operational role
- Proficient in MS Office programs
