About the Program:

Job Objectives
As a Pharmacist at Clicks, you will provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offering professional advice in line with Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope defined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

You will efficiently manage all dispensary operations, including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administrative duties, ensuring compliance with SAPC regulations and company standards. You will focus on achieving core dispensary and clinic targets to maintain operational success.

The role includes mentoring and developing Pharmacist Assistants and Interns, driving exceptional customer service initiatives to enhance experience, loyalty, and club card participation, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders such as centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres.

You will also ensure integration with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions for customers, supporting Clicks’ vision to be the first-choice health and beauty retailer by exemplifying company values.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC.
  • Desirable: Retail pharmacy experience.
  • Desirable: Unisolve experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • SAPC and legal compliance knowledge.
  • Ethical work practices and adherence to regulations.
  • Stock, cost, risk, and compliance management.
  • Patient care and professional counselling.
  • Customer service excellence.
  • Tutorship and coaching capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with strong planning, organising, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and computer literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
