Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking an Operations Manager for the Worcester Branch, reporting to the Branch Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee all Cash in Transit (CIT) operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery to clients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accreditation, minimum Grade C
  • Cash In Transit (CIT) certificate
  • Firearm competency, minimum handgun qualification
  • Computer literacy
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in CIT or similar operations (FSG experience advantageous)
  • CIT management or supervisory experience (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of HR/IR practices
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards
  • Familiarity with Transtrack
  • Strong planning, leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Ability to work under pressure and irregular hours
  • Clear disciplinary record

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operational activities for the branch, ensuring client requirements are met
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service delivery as per contracts
  • Manage staff performance, retention, and development
  • Implement risk management measures and accident prevention protocols
  • Ensure proper administration of daily operational tasks
  • Take accountability for branch vehicles, including maintenance, refuelling, security systems, and cleanliness
  • Monitor and manage CIT schedules and vehicle movements during transit
  • Liaise with management and staff on operational and HR/IR matters
  • Conduct overall Transtrack duties and reporting
  • Take preventive action against suspicious activities
